The Designer/Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of all assigned projects from client initiation to successful completion. The Designer/Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with clients, communicating proactively by setting and managing expectations in order to foster strong relationships and ensure that each project delivers on our commitments to our builders and their clients while fulfilling our values.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences.
- Provide design recommendations based on clients’ needs, aesthetic preferences, timeline and budget.
- Create detailed renderings using 2020 software and put together a presentation to communicate design and close the sale.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotes and estimates for clients.
- Close the sale and create detailed sign off documents in order to set accurate expectations and to facilitate successful installation.
- Manage project expectations and timelines by being proactive in communication.
- Order projects accurately and review with lead designer in order to trouble shoot possible issues.
- Manage multiple designs simultaneously and updating each project in HubSpot; communicating often, setting accurate expectations and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with logistics and service teams providing necessary documentation to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects providing ongoing support and assistance until completion.
- Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them updated on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions up to and including assisting in resolving any client issues and complaints.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, actively seeing new opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials and cabinetry design techniques.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to improve processes.
